Nick was pleased to address business and community leaders this morning to extend congratulations to the Portland Business Alliance on their 10th Anniversary.

Bringing together local businesses, the Portland Business Alliance (PBA) works to "promote and foster an environment in the Portland region that attracts, supports and retains private sector jobs, spurs economic vitality and enables quality educational opportunities for the region's residents."

The heart of a healthy economy must be a strong, growing, and prosperous business community.  The PBA is a vital partner for the City, and has been a strong support for Bud Clark Commons, the Service Coordination team, and our strategic plan for jobs creation.

The PBA also celebrated five outstanding partners and volunteers, including:

• Debbie Kitchin, co-owner of Interworks General Contractors
• Lori Hensel, USI Northwest
• Angela Hult, Regence
• Seth Warren, Camp Fire Columbia
