Looking for a fun way to serve the community this summer? Portland Parks & Recreation is hiring more than 700 positions for its six indoor and seven outdoor pools!

Open positions include lifeguards, swim instructors, and water fitness instructors within the PP&R Aquatics Department. The positions offers competitive wages, a positive work environment, flexible hours, opportunity for advancement, and an employee recognition program. 

Training courses for those interested in becoming a lifeguard, swim instructor, or water fitness instructor are offered during Spring Break, March 26-29, and in April. Water fitness instructor training is also offered in May.
