Chapman and Lownsdale Squares re-opened

After several weeks of maintenance and repair, Chapman and Lownsdale Squares have re-opened!
The squares were fenced and closed to the public in November. Thanks to the many volunteers, donors, and Parks staff, the historic squares are beginning to return to their natural state.
With spring weather approaching, Portland Parks Bureau will organize community work parties to help continue the restoration of the parks, including restoring plants and grassy areas.
