After extensive community input, Portland Parks and Recreation and the Portland Housing Bureau have submitted their requested budgets for FY2012-2013.
City Council directed all city bureaus receiving General Fund support to prepare for potential cuts of 4%, 6%, or 8%. Budget recommendations were developed by the Budget Advisory Committees for each bureau, with input from various stakeholders.

The Mayor and Council will hold further public meetings to gather community input in the coming months, and the final budget decision will be determined in May 2012.
