The Portland Community Garden Program is looking for an new Program Intern. Beginning in January, the Program Intern will work closely with program staff to systemize program components. Hours are flexible, but an ideal intern would work 8-16 hours a week from January to March 2012.

Specific duties include:

--Entering and editing gardener and volunteer contact information into Access database

--Compiling data from Access database and creating Excel spreadsheets for reports

--Scanning and cataloging historical program documents into electronic files

--Collecting updated information about gardens to create digitized maps for each site
