Help support PP&R's Outdoor Teen Program - October 25, 2011

Chinook Books are back!

Chinook Book is a one-of-a-kind resource: a coupon book, a directory of green and local merchants, a source of ideas and inspiration.

It's your guide to living well in and around Portland. What could be better than saving hundreds of dollars while exploring your community and supporting local, sustainable businesses?

This year, Portland Parks & Recreation is selling Chinook Books as a fundraiser for its Outdoor Teen Program. Proceeds from sales will support scholarships to help connect teens to nature through outdoor adventure, environmental science, and service learning.

Books are for sale at the Portland Building, at 1120 SW 5th Avenue in downtown, and at the Sellwood Community Center, at 1436 SE Spokane Street.

Help support this important program - Chinook Books make great presents, for others or for yourself!
