Join Portland Parks & Recreation's No Ivy League and their partners this Saturday in their annual event to fight English Ivy at Forest Park!

English Ivy is an aggressive, alien invader responsible for smothering innocent plants, recklessly eroding slopes, and decreasing the overall biodiversity of Forest Park's treasured ecosystem.

From 9:00 to noon, work parties will tackle the ivy at sites across Forest Park. The day wraps up at 12:30 with refreshments and speakers at the No Ivy League Field Headquarters in the park.

If you can't make it this weekend, there are plenty of other opportunities to help out - drop-in work parties are hosted the first and third Saturdays of each month.
