"Best Kemo Sabe" - July 27, 2011

We'd like to call your attention to today's Willamette Week, featuring the "Best of Portland 2011" and a very special winner, our very own Bob McCoy! Bob, our Forest Park Ranger, has been named 'Best Kemo Sabe' for his work as "the first and only PP&R ranger dedicated exclusively to the crown jewel of the city's parks system."

Bob's role takes him all over Forest Park's many miles of trails, where he meets park users of all kinds and helps make sure we're all acting as good stewards of the park. After all, as McCoy told WW's Jonthan Frochtzwajg, almost every park user shares the desire to have "their children and grandchildren...be able to enjoy it the way they did."

Congratulations, Bob!

If you haven't been to Forest Park yet this summer, check out Portland Monthly's Forest Park Guide - everything you need to know about hiking, biking, birding, and more!
