All-season, high-quality turf fields are community assets, offering safe, easy-to-maintain places for exercise and play.

The team at Portland Parks & Recreation is working to make all-weather fields available to student-athletes in every corner of the City.

Last week, we celebrated a major step forward with the opening of Buckman Field, two turf fields on the Benson High School campus.

Thanks to all our community partners who supported and funded this project: Nike, Portland City United Soccer Club, St. Mary's Academy, and Portland Public Schools.

Athletes at Benson and St. Mary's now have a beautiful new home field, and the community has access to another top-tier athletic facility.
