We hope you saw this morning's Oregonian Editorial, "A win for affordable housing."

Working with our community partners, we have celebrated a number of significant accomplishments this Spring:

• Groundbreaking at Block 49 in the South Waterfront
• Opening the Ramona Apartments in the River District
• Rehabilitating housing at Villa de Suenos in Cully
• Winning an $18.5 million federal HOPE VI grant to revitalize Hillsdale Terrace in Southwest.
  

And we're in the second year of making historic investments in housing with urban renewal funds.

Next week, we'll cut the ribbon on Bud Clark Commons, the centerpiece of the City/County 10-Year Plan to End Homelessness.
