Portland Community Gardens brings in the month of April with another new garden in East Portland opening for registration today.

Zenger Farm and Portland Community Gardens worked in partnership on this wonderful new site as they involved surrounding residents in design and planning logistics.

Located on Zenger Farm’s Furey Field property, at SE 117th & SE Reedway St, the Furey Community Garden will provide 36 new garden plots for East Portlanders.

Also new this year at the farm will be a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program that will provide neighbors with fresh produce throughout the growing season.

Please join Zenger Farm and Portland Community Gardens May 14^th at 1pm as they celebrate the garden’s opening. A work party will be hosted before the opening from 11am-1pm.
