The first is from a trip to Seattle Commissioner Fish took earlier this month. He led a delegation of non-profit leaders, business representatives, and City and County staff to learn from the best and brightest housing minds in the Seattle area. The group toured project sites, met with local leaders, and brought back a wealth of new knowledge around best practices in affordable housing.

The second album shows the transformation of Upshur House, one of our '11 x 13' preservation projects. The Portland Housing Bureau has committed to ensuring the affordability of 11 key affordable housing developments, including Upshur House, by 2013. Non-profit partners are key to this effort - we help fund those groups as they purchase developments and renew their federal subsidies to make sure they remain affordable for Portland renters.
