Over one hundred partners gathered this week to celebrate the new Multnomah Food Action Plan - a collaborative plan to create a local, healthy, equitable and regionally prosperous food system.  Organizations and individuals are encouraged to sign the Declaration of Support.

The celebration included several exciting announcements, including the launch of a new Farmer Incubator Program and our commitments to build 1000 new gardens by 2012.  We will also work with partners to host an annual Harvest Festival and continue conversations with regional leaders about a future community food resource center.
