Even in tough times, Portlanders are finding ways to give back to worthy programs in our community.

A few weeks ago we told you about the Community Music Center's 55th anniversary celebration. Now, we're pleased to share that the Anniversary Gala exceeded its goal of raising $25,000 to support CMC's scholarship fund! Congratulations to Gregory Dubay and the entire team at CMC!

Next friday, CMC will offer its final Family Fridays event, a free series of family-friendly concerts at the Center (3350 SE Francis.) The concert will feature the Garbot-Popadiuk-Kim trio, made up of three of our region's top young classical musicians.
