This Saturday, May 1, Parks will present a 5K run/walk to benefit the Mt. Scott Community Center scholarship program, which offers reduced-price passes to low-income Portlanders.

The course will take particpants through Lents park, past the tennis courts, the gazebo, the community garden, and more.

Registration is open through Saturday, so you're welcome to register at the run. The event is open to all ages, and there will be a number of fun prizes available to all participants.
