Council this morning honored Jefferson High School's women's and men's basketball teams for their achievements - athletic, academic, and creative.

In March, the men's and women's teams both won state championship titles following undefeated seasons.

They also produced the 5A Players of the Year,

Terrence Jones and Ariel Reynolds.

Congratulations to these teams, whose hard work continues to inspire their classmates and their community.
