We are excited to welcome Jim Blackwood to the Fish Team.

Jim will be joining our office as Policy Director beginning in mid-October. Jim brings two decades of experience in project and team management, and as an active member of the Mount Tabor Neighborhood Assocation and a member of the City Club of Portland Research Board, he has led and participated in community engagement and policy projects.

“I am excited to join Nick Fish in City Hall and go to work for the people of Portland,” Blackwood says. “I have a life-long belief that well managed government can have a positive impact in people’s lives."

He'll be handling Parks issues, communications, acting as liaison to the Disparity Study, and managing a variety of other policy areas.

“It’s great to have Jim joining our team,” says Nick.  “He brings a range of experience to the office from his years in the private sector as well as his extensive involvement as a volunteer in the community.”
