Portland Fire & Rescue became an accredited fire department in August of 2006.

The Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI) awarded PF&R with this honor following an extensive self-assessment and external assessment.

PF&R developed a Standard of Emergency Response Coverage (SERC) document in order to qualify for accreditation.  The SERC document illustrates the jurisdiction PF&R serves, as well as the level of service that can be expected.  The SERC files can be found below.

If you have any questions regarding the SERC Document Narrative and Attachments, please email Jen Clodius at jen.clodius@fire.ci.portland.or.us.
