Shannon is Dan’s lead staff liaison to the Fire & Police Disability & Retirement System (FPD&R), the Gateway Center for Domestic Violence Services, and the Portland Children's Levy. She received her B.A. from the Evergreen State College, her J.D. from Lewis & Clark College of Law, and is a member of the Oregon State Bar Association.
Before working for Dan, Shannon was a staff attorney working on identity theft legislation, and payday loan regulation. Shannon drafted the first municipal ordinances in Oregon regulating payday loans. She also facilitated the committee of union representatives and citizens to craft reforms to the FPD&R system in 2006. |
