Sue Pearce lives in Southeast Portland.   She is a member of Hosford-Abernethy Neighborhood Development Association (HAND) and represents that board on the Central Eastside Urban Renewal Area Advisory Committee, Central Eastside Industrial Council Land Use and Transportation Committee, and Parking Study Committee; the Portland Milwaukie Light Rail Citizens’ Advisory Committee; and the Oregon Rail Historic Foundation Board.   She serves on the City of Portland Street Car Citizens’ Advisory Committee and the City of Portland Noise Review Board.   A registered nurse with a BSN from the University of Oregon School of Nursing (now OHSU), Susan has worked in a variety of settings over the course of her career.   She recently retired after many years as a hospice, home infusion and home health nurse.  She enjoys civic involvement because it provides a way to learn how a city works and is a means to give back to the community.  Susan was nominated to the Charter Commission by Commissioner Fritz.
