Marion Haynes is with Portland General Electric government affairs, focusing on state legislative matters.  Prior to joining PGE, Marion served as vice president for legislative affairs and general counsel for Oregon Business Association and as government relations director and associate general counsel for the Portland Business Alliance.  She is a graduate of Lewis and Clark Law School and James Madison University in Virginia.  Marion was a fellow with the Ford Foundation Fellowship on Regional Sustainable Development and serves on the board of The Oregon Idea.  Marion was nominated to the Charter Commission by Commissioner Saltzman.
