Abstract
|
Annotation for Customer Demand Model meters.
|
|
Purpose
|
Customer Demand Model water meters have the capacity to be remotely read, and can be queried multiple times during the day, so the Water Bureau can better understand water usage patterns, both during the day, and also during periods of unusual use (e.g. heat waves, hard freezes). The annotation is important because there are wires going from the meter box to the house that are easy to cut if the crews are not aware of them.
