Friends of Trees Crew Leader Training in Vancouver Nov. 7th, 2009
Friends of Trees and Vancouver Urban Forestry have again teamed up to create four large plantings in neighborhoods around Vancouver this winter. Join our popular group of key volunteers! Sign up for our free training to learn how to lead volunteer planters at morning tree plantings. It's a great way to make new friends and find out why volunteers love our crew leaders!
This year the Crew Leader Training will be held on November 7th, at Fisher’s Landing Elementary School at 9am followed by the Fisher’s Creek & Village at Fisher’s Landing Neighborhood planting at 12:30 pm. Crew leaders will be given training on how to plant trees properly and will then be given the opportunity to help homeowners get trees in the ground, with breakfast and lunch included!
