Planning Commission Updates

PUBLIC HEARING

This hearing has been continued to the Planning Commission's November 10th 12:30 pm meeting. At this meeting the Planning Commission will deliberate and possibly make a recommendation to City Council on the proposals in the Schools and Parks Conditional Use Code Refinement Project: Report to the Planning Commission (link below) Please call Joan Hamilton at 503.823.5772 to confirm the time on the agenda.


Work continues on changes to the recreation field regulations.
Portland Parks & Recreation staff will host a workshop in early December to discuss possible modifications to the code. Please check this website for upcoming opportunities for you to comment on these ideas or call Brett Horner, Portland Parks & Recreation Planning Manager at 503.823.1674. Continued work on recreational field uses

In a separate memo Portland Parks & Recreation staff has proposed conceptual changes to how the city regulates recreational fields. Planning Commission will also be taking testimony on these ideas.


To comment on proposed code amendments in the Staff Report, as well as the concepts for recreational field use regulations:

 

1. Testify at the Planning Commission public hearing on September 22, 2009; and/or
2. Send or e-mail  your written comments to the Planning Commission:
