At the curb by 6 a.m.!

Recycling is always picked up the same day of the week as your garbage. Place your can or roll cart at the curb by 6 a.m.

Blue Recycling Roll Cart Information and Instructions

Blue roll cart detailsRecycling is picked up every week. We recommend that you wait until the roll cart is full to bring it to the curb.

 

Your rate includes the collection of a garbage and recycling company provided blue roll cart on your recycling collection day.

  • Your blue recycling roll cart
  • Weight limit: 100 lbs.
  • Do not pack cart tightly.
  • Recycling must fall out easily.Do not use your recycling cart for garbage.

The items listed in the Curbside Recycling Guide are recyclable at the curb in the City of Portland. If you are not sure whether an item is recyclable, call your garbage and recycling company or email us.
