Phase of Project:
The permit for the construction project was submitted, July 2nd.
Pending the outcome of the permit process the project construction should begin August 2008. The delay has been because of the Bureau of Development Service issues on the Brownfield report.
Current Schedule and Estimated Completion Date:
The construction will begin Fall 2008 GIF support system should be installed and identify by December/January Enclosed is the draft Construction Timetable
Major Milestones:
a. Building site had asbestos testing finding was satisfactory
b. Environmental Services and Federal EPA funding for contamination expenses
c. Draft of Construction design given to contractor
d. Established Marketing Committee activity for additional fund raising for project
e. Draft of Construction costs from CL Jackson Construction Company
Problems:
Working with the Brownfield issues cited by the Bureau of Developmental Services
Signed a Site Access Agreement Use with The Environment Services for the purpose of conducting environmental site assessments, including but not limited to the following activities: Soil and sediment sampling; Ground water sampling; Visual site reconnaissance. The agreement will cover the cost of environmental site assessment activities on the property.
Proposed Changes:
We are working on drafts documents of the project.
Next Steps:
CL Jackson Construction Company and sub contractors will be working on the construction of the project.

The Sienna Architecture team of Greg Acker and Richard K. Woodling are working on the design
Committee is working with the Development Services on permit process
Created resources documents for construction companies and workers
Current Schedule and Estimated Completion Date:
The team commissioned a site survey by Centerline Concepts Inc.
We are working with Nora Mulane on a permit waiver for non profit and doing fund raising and grant writing to pull together additional funding for the project.
Opened a construction account at Umpqua Bank
The Delta Construction Committee meets monthly to track the progress of the project.
Major Milestones:
Delivered Benson Glass to the site
Opening a Construction Account
Creating final plans for the project design
Surveying the property
Compiling a list of construction contractors, craftsmen and construction resources
Problems:
We are probably naïve to them at this point. Once we develop the construction design and obtain the necessary permits and select the construction components; I envision lots of issues.
