Suggestions for a great
Build It Green! Tour experience

• Expect to make it to about five to seven homes on the tour day.
• Look through your booklet or check online, see which homes have features that interest you, and then plan your tour accordingly.
• Wear shoes that can be slipped off easily. Some homeowners will ask that you remove your shoes.
• Plan to use public restrooms at area businesses or public venues.
• Expect to wait at some of the homes as some spaces are small and compact. Please be patient - you will get your opportunity to go inside too!
• Please remember to park considerately.  Do not block driveways or park in spots marked with no parking/ADA accessible signs.
• Carpool to save time, money and natural resources. Better yet, bike, take mass transit, or use a car sharing option.
