Clean Energy Works: Portland

A pilot program that will help up to 500 qualified Portland homes finance and install energy efficiency upgrades paying for them via access to low-cost, long-term financing. Homes heated with electricity from Portland General Electric or Pacific Power are currently being sought for the pilot.  Read about the program and apply here.

Treebate Program

Receive a treebate of up to $40 ($50 for native species) for trees planted on your property.

Water Bureau House

Read about the City of Portland’s Water Bureau new energy efficient and nature friendly single family home. The property was previously home to two well sites. The home will be open to the public for one year and be a model showcase for sustainable building practices, materials, energy efficient systems and low-impact development.
