Multifamily properties include apartments, condominiums, mobile home parks and moorages with five units or more. 

Requirements

Owners/managers of rental property are required to establish a garbage and recycling system. Other requirements include:

• Recycling stations must be as convenient as trash.

• Recycling information must be provided to new residents within 30 days of move in.

• Recycling information must be provided on an annual basis.

Choosing a garbage and recycling company 

A property owner/manager may choose any commercial permitted garbage and recycling company for their garbage and recycling. Because permitted garbage and recycling companies and drop box companies operate in an open and competitive market, prices may vary between companies. All commercial haulers provide recycling.
