Information for Tenants

Your landlord is required to provide garbage and recycling service

Owners are required to subscribe to and pay for garbage service for their renters.  Garbage service must be in the homeowner’s name.  A rental agreement does not determine who subscribes for garbage service.

How your garbage and recycling is collected depends on the type of residence. Which best describes your home?

Single family home, duplex, triplex, fourplex: use the information on this page

Single family homes and duplexes should receive one blue and one green roll cart. Triplexes and fourplexes should receive two blue and one green roll cart.

Apartments, condominiums and houseboats of 5+ units: please see Multifamily Recycling

Pumpkins Post-mortem

Pumpkins can be recycled!

Pumpkins can be recycled in your green roll cart. Please place them in with other accepted yard debris after your autumn celebrations. Remember to remove any candles or wax from jack-o'-lanterns.
