The Johnson-Nicolai subwatershed extends from near the intersection of West Burnside and Skyline Road to the Willamette River near the Fremont Bridge. The upper portion includes the wooded neighborhoods on either side of Burnside as well as Arboretum. The lower subwatershed is a heavily developed mixture of residential, commercial, and industrial uses.
