The Portland Brownfield Program can provide funding for Environmental Site Assessments and cleanup of qualifying properties.  To apply, download an application here.

 

Tax Relief Available for Brownfield Cleanups
Read about the Brownfields Tax Incentive, which was signed into law under the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997. This was amended by the Taxpayer Relief Act of 2000 to delete the requirement that sites be located within certain targeted areas.

The Portland Brownfield Program can provide technical assistance free of charge to property owners, developers, and community members.  Assistance is also available from:

 

Northwest Environmental Business Council (NEBC)
