SHAVER GREEN - 375 NE Shaver Street Portland, OR
Shaver Green offers workforce housing for families earning 60 percent of median income, including 8 units of permanent supportive housing for people earning zero to 30 percent of median income.

Shaver Green is built on a brownfield site and features many sustainable technologies, including an electric car EV rideshare facility. The charging station is powered by solar cells on the building’s roof. Shaver Green will partner with Zipcar to offer the car-sharing company’s first plug-in electric hybrid car in Portland, which can zip over 100 miles per gallon.

Because it was built on a brownfield the City of Portland Brownfield Program provided a letter to the development team establishing it as eligible to receive the LEED point for brownfield redevelopment awarded by the United States Green Business Council.
