City Motor Fuel Contract

In an effort to encourage Oregon farmers to plant biofuels crops, Portland has established guaranteed and fair commodity price agreements for regionally grown feedstocks for the biodiesel used by the city's fleet. In awarding the city-fleet motor fuels contract, suppliers providing locally procuded biofuels made from regional feedstocks were awarded additional evaluation points.
