5th Annual 1900 Building Tulip Sale - Printable Version - April 21, 2011 - 0 Comments

BDS StaffThe City of Portland Bureau of Development Services sponsored the Easter Seals of Oregon by holding its 5th Annual Tulip Sale in the lobby of the 1900 Building on Thursday, April 21, 2011. A wide variety of fresh tulips in bunches of ten and recyclable vases were available for $5 each.

 

This fundraiser for Easter Seals will help fund the programs and services that enable people with disabilities to live with equality, dignity and independence. Tulips for sale!More than 5,000 children and adults living with autism and other disabilities in Oregon and SW Washington receive services each year.

 

The bureau sold about 12 boxes of 20 bunches per box which raised about $1,500 for the Easter Seals of Oregon.

 

Special thanks to BDS staff for organizing and volunteering at this event and purchasing the tulips!
