Over the past few months Inspector Russ Young has built relationships with Home Depot and Aboy on behalf of the bureau to spread the word on our services, importance of permits and to answer any questions customers may have on their individual projects.

BDS’s presence at these various locations is great because it reaches homeowners that may not come down to the City of Portland or visit our website to learn about the services we offer or even know their projects may need permits.

The bureau is very excited to continue this outreach with these stores and is looking forward to building more relationships with other like stores. There is a group of inspectors that have committed to this outreach and are available to fill these requests, so feel free to call and make your request.
