In 2006, Ty Adams quit his job, sold his home and bought an RV. He then started a biodiesel advocacy campaign called bioTrekker. Traveling for over a year and 20,000 miles, Ty spread the good word about biodiesel.
Now he’s taking sustainable RV’s to the next level. This weekend, the public is invited for a sneak preview of Adams’ latest project, the SolTrekker, at Greener Homes and Gardens Show at the Portland Expo Center. A work in progress, “Sunny” will be a sustainable RV run by biodiesel and solar panels, as well as refitted with an eco-friendly interior.
