Residential Inspections hits 470 on Friday - Printable Version - August 13, 2007 - 0 Comments

Residential ConstructionThis has been an extremely busy summer for our Residential Inspections Team.  On Friday alone, our section received 470 requests for residential permit inspections.  An average day typically sees between 360 - 380 requests.

In response to Friday's inspection load, we had 5 inspectors working on Saturday, August 11th to meet customers' requests.

What's causing the building boom this summer?  Well, it appears that the bulk of work is remodels and additions.  We also believe that our community outreach efforts are raising awareness in the community about the need and value of permitting remodeling work, resulting in more customers getting permits for their projects.

Thanks to all our residential inspectors for your hard work to make sure structures meet building safety codes while providing excellent service to our customers.

Larry Pamer & Jeff Eldredge,

Residential Inspections Section Managers
