Portland, OR- Beginning July 2, 2007, the Bureau of Development Services will begin issuing a Certificate of Occupancy upon completion of new single-family homes and duplexes in the City of Portland. Over the last several years, the bureau has received a notable increase in the number of requests from lenders and property owners looking for verification that a residence has been approved and ready for occupancy.
