Development Services Center (DSC) Appointment

This program provides a new alternative to DSC customers who want to obtain information about development. Current programs allow customers to call the DSC seeking information, or visit the DSC to be assisted on a first-come, first-served basis. The new program allows interested customers to pay a $75 fee to schedule 30 minute Time Certain Appointments.

DSC Appointment applicants can ask as many questions as they wish during their scheduled 30 minute appointment. A copy of the appointment notes will be provided at the conclusion of the appointment and be attached to our Permitting Database for future reference.

No action will be taken on any active permits or cases at the meeting. Applicants will be notified as early as possible, if it turns out that this is not the correct venue to answer the questions identified. For example, if a project is submitted on a property with multiple permits or land use reviews, an Early Assistance (EA) appointment (for which research is conduced prior to the appointment) is the preferred approach. Similarly, if an applicant seeks input from multiple agencies, an EA is the best option.

Time Certain DSC Appointments will be scheduled during the following times:

» Two Wednesday mornings
» Two Friday afternoons

Appointments will be scheduled a minimum of six (6) calendar days prior to the occurrence of the meeting to allow anticipation of staffing needs.
