FY 2005-06 STATE REVENUE SHARING PROGRAM
Binding City Policy
BCP-FIN-1.06
PURPOSE
The Council finds:
1. The State of Oregon established a State Revenue Sharing Program through
the enactment of Senate Bill 11 by the 1977 Oregon Legislative Assembly.
2. Pursuant to ORS 221.770 the City must elect to receive the State Revenue
Sharing Program funds and must notify the State of Oregon, Department of
Administrative Services of said election prior to July 31, 2005.
POLICY
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council directs:
a. The Office of Management and Finance is herby authorized to notify the
State of Oregon, Department of Administrative Services that pursuant to ORS
221.770, the City hereby elects to receive state revenues for FY 2005-06.
b. The actions electing to accept funds from the State of Oregon under the
State Revenue Sharing Program contained in this ordinance are binding City
policy.
