FALL FY 2001-02 SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET
Binding City Policy
The Council finds:
1. As defined by ORS 294.480, conditions exist which require the City of Portland to prepare a supplemental budget. In consequence, a supplement budget in the amount of $104,726,040 was submitted to the Multnomah County Tax Supervising and Conservation Commission (TSCC) by the Budget Officer of the City Of Portland on November 19, 2001.
2. The TSCC will hold a public hearing on November 29, 2001 for certification of the supplemental budget.
3. Subject to certification by the TSCC, the City of Portland's fall FY 2001-02 supplemental budget should be adopted by the City Council, the resources and requirements of the various funds should be adjusted, and the specified appropriations should be made in accordance with the attached exhibits in order to implement the proposed projects and activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council directs:
a. The supplemental budget, pending certification by the Multnomah County Tax Supervising and Conservation Commission, is hereby adopted.
b. The actions adjusting the FY 2001-02 budget contained in this ordinance are binding City policy.
c. Appropriations are hereby made in accordance with the Appropriation Schedule (Exhibit 1
) and Line Item Appropriation Schedule (Exhibit 2
) as attached.
d. Resources and requirements by fund are hereby adjusted in accordance with Exhibits 3-18 as attached.
