9011 ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES

9011-01 COMPLIANCE RECORDS

Records are created to document regulatory compliance on PDOT projects and are used to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Records include memos, letters, budgets, environmental regulations and other information and resources needed to assist staff to comply with environmental regulations.

9011-02 CULTURAL RESOURCES RECORDS

Series is created to develop and document official city policy and regulatory compliance concerning cultural resources and is used to identify significant resources and develop protection plans to govern the protection and preservation of these resources. Records include policies, procedures, maps, permits, reports, memos, correspondence, and consultant studies of sites within the city. Examples of records include archeological digs and Native American sites.

9011-03 ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT RECORDS

Records are created to document "due diligence" (legal inquiry of property) and are used for the management and construction of project sites. Record contains report or summary of property evaluation. Records include research information, interviews, aerial photographs, photographs of site, notes from site visits and other information collected on the types of uses of the property in question.

9011-04 HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES RECORDS

Series is created to develop and document official city policy and regulatory compliance of substances that are considered hazardous substances. Records include non-privilege consultant reports, waste manifests, waster profiles and ordinances authorizing payments for disposal of substances.

9011-05 REGULATORY & LEGISLATIVE RECORDS

Series is created to analyze the impact of regulation on PDOT operations and programs and is used to monitor legislation and rule making affecting transportation projects. Records include copies of legislation, rules and administrative policies issued by the various federal, state and city agencies. Records also include letters, reports, analysis, and legal opinions.

9011-06 WETLAND PERMIT RECORDS

Series is used to document wetland permits issued to PDOT. The permit is the federal or state authorization to undertake work. Information on the permit includes location, conditions and legal authority.

9011-07 WETLAND RECORDS

Series is used to document the identification and management of wetland areas. Records include reports, correspondence, policies, maps, inventories and assessments of wetlands. Records may also include mitigation plans, monitoring records and permits issued to remove or fill wetlands.
