9003-01 STRUCTURAL PLANS AND DRAWINGS
Record is initially created for the construction of structures (bridges,
retaining walls, stairways, tunnels, etc.) but is now used for maintenance and
periodic review of structure. Records include detailed plans and designs of
existing structures. Series also includes projects undertaken for various city
bureaus and may include photographs.
Record Copy? Yes
RETENTION: Life of structure. Destruction of material is subject to archival
review.
9003-02 STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS RECORDS
Record is used for design work. Series is created to document tests on stress
and workload. Records generally are computer printouts used in design testing.
Record may also include calculations and other working records. Series may
include projects undertaken for various city bureaus.

9003-03 PLAN REVIEW RECORDS - PERMANENT STRUCTURES
Series documents privately owned structures within the right of way and is
used primarily to review structure prior to construction. Records are copies of
plans, calculations, and inspector's notes of permanent structures that may
extend, cross or abut the public right of way. Records include review for both
private and public sector.

9003-04 PLAN REVIEW RECORDS - TEMPORARY STRUCTURES
Series is used as construction review for temporary shoring or structures
that extend into the public right of way and is used primarily during
construction of structure. Records are copies of plans, calculations, and
inspector's notes of temporary shoring that may extend, cross or abut the public
right of way. Records include review for both private and public sector.
