9203-01 TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PERMIT RECORDS

Series is created to document and reference permits issued by the Bureau of Traffic Management. Record includes a copy of the completed permit application. Information on permits generally includes name, address, type of permit, permit number (parking decal number). Other information includes permit specific information such as route taken , insurance forms, name of organization requesting permit and traffic control measures. Examples of permits include residential parking permits, overdimensional permits (houses, construction equipment, etc.), banners and other types of special events (parades, etc.)

9203-02 CITIZEN INQUIRY RECORDS (CUSTOMER CORRESPONDENCE)

Series is used to track requests, investigations, modifications and related information concerning responsibilities of the Bureau of Traffic Management. Records include correspondence, phone logs, and field notes concerning various operational responsibilities. Information includes name, phone number, description of problem, location of problem, name of person responding to request and other information needed to process or track requests.

Series is created to document in depth investigations on specific traffic requests or problems. This series is more than a routine investigation and is created to document or investigate large or continuing issues. Records are all information gathered during the investigative findings. Records include reports, correspondence, research data, working files, etc. Examples of records include information gathered on schools, trouble spots, and other intensive investigations.
