1001-01 MEETING RECORDS - STAFF
Records documenting meetings within city government which are not subject to Oregon's Public Meetings Law (ORS 192.610 to 192.710). These routine staff meetings deal with tasks and actions within existing policies and procedures. Records may include minutes, notes, reports and related items. Some records may merit inclusion in other records series with longer retention periods if the subject matter of the meeting adds significant information to that series.

1001-02 TECHNICAL MANUALS
Series is used to document maintenance and operating procedures for equipment and machinery. Records include manuals and checklists used to operate and maintain equipment. Series may include manuals or sales literature that came with the equipment and other maintenance schedules. Series includes technical manuals developed by the manufacturer and city staff.

1001-04 DISASTER PLANNING AND RECOVERY RECORDS
Records document operating and contingency plans for crises and emergencies. Records include building evacuation plans and plans for continuing agency operations in the event of a disaster. Records may also include information and critiques from other bureaus, planning documents and drill records.

1001-06 PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP RECORDS
Records documenting institutional or agency-paid individual memberships and activities in professional organizations. Records of Elected Officials who are active members of professional organizations during their terms may merit a longer retention period. Please consult City Archives prior to destroying records.
