8802-01 NPDES (NATIONAL POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELIMINATION SYSTEM) PERMITS
Series is created to guide the extent of water treatment to meet State and Federal mandates. Series is used to document the application and issuance of permits to the City under the Clean Water Act allowing discharge under controlled conditions. Records include copies of applications, permits, correspondence, reports, maps, lab reports, working/supporting documents, conditions of permits, memos of understanding (MOUs) and other related documents.

8802-02 REGULATORY REPORTS AND RECORDS
Series is created in response to agency mandates that require reporting information on city program efforts. Series is used to document the activities by the city to meet certain federal requirements. Record includes program information, monitoring efforts, correspondence, evaluation, problems, compliance/oversight information, noncompliance/enforcement information, summaries, outside district reports, etc. Examples include FEQ reports, DMR report, Dry Weather Overflow Records, Program Compliance Inspection (PCI) reports, etc.

Where? Record copy is held by section responding to regulatory agency. Record of all reports should be sent to Environmental Compliance Section.

8802-03 COMPLIANCE TRACKING SYSTEM
Series is created as a quick reference to track the environmental compliance issues and is used to document the history of compliance issues. Record includes date, subject matter, what done, references to other records, response, penalties and other related records.

8802-04 ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE RECORDS (MILESTONE RECORDS)
Series is created to track specific compliance issues and to document bureau response. It is used to advise bureau employees on various issues involving environmental compliance. Records include correspondence, memos, reports, plans, photographs, regulatory information, legal opinions and other related material.
