Ken joined the Audit Services Division staff in 1990, after working for nine years with the City of Houston in the Mayor's Office, the Solid Waste Management Department and the Finance and Administration Department.
As one of the division's Prinicipal Management Auditors, Ken oversees and mentors multiple audit teams on their projects, while also leading teams on other specific audit projects.
Ken was the Auditor in Charge of two audit projects that won the Gold Knighton Award for Best Audit (2007 and 2005) given by the Association of Local Government Auditors. He was also the Auditor in Charge on two earlier projects that were finalists for the award.
He holds a master's degree from the University of Houston, and has done graduate study in Urban Planning and holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.
He is a member of the Association of Local Government Auditors and the Association of Government Accountants.
