DRIVER PERMITS DMV RECORDS AND CRIMINAL CHECKS
Administrative Rule Adopted by Private for Hire Transportation Board of Review Pursuant to Rule-Making Authority
ARB-LIC-8.23
A. When performing a driving history check pursuant to 16.40.090, the Administrator will use the Oregon Department of Transportation DMVCIC System for drivers licensed by the State of Oregon. For drivers licensed from a jurisdiction other than Oregon, the applicant must provide to the Administrator a copy of his or her driving record from the jurisdiction in which the driver is licensed.
B. When performing a driver criminal history background check pursuant to 16.40.090, the Administrator will obtain a Portland Police Records check and a Law Enforcement Data Systems (LEDS) check of any criminal activity.
C. The Administrator may require or accept in lieu of a Portland Police Records and LEDS check, a criminal background report from another source.
