DRIVER PERMITS CRIMINAL CHECKS 

Administrative Rule Adopted by Private for Hire Transportation Board of Review Pursuant to Rule-Making Authority

ARB-LIC-8.21

A.  When performing a driver criminal history background check pursuant to 16.40.080, the Administrator will obtain a Portland Police Records check and a Law Enforcement Data Systems (LEDS) check of any criminal activity.

B.  The Administrator may require or accept in lieu of a Portland Police Records and LEDS check, a criminal background report from another source.
